PORT Lincoln swimmer Eliah Smith has been recognised as one of Australia’s most promising Paralympic athletes and will receive a share of $50,000 through the 2008 Telstra Developing Athletes Grant Scheme.

The 2008 Telstra Developing Athletes Grant Scheme has allocated funding to 100 young athletes identified by the Australian Paralympic Committee as having the potential to represent Australia at the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games, the Vancouver 2010 Paralympic Winter Games or the London 2012 Paralympic Games.
