MARC Chapman had 66 off the stick at Cummins Golf on Sunday, giving him a big score of 45 for the day, helping him to lower his handicap to two, the lowest ever by a Cummins Golf Club member.
His score was one off the course record of 65, held by Ray Fitzgerald.
There was a field of 19 players on Sunday, and after a good rain the night before it was a nice day out on the course. Two visitors from Western Australia also joined the group, Peter Davis and Glyn Mincherton.
Division one winner was Chapman, from runner-up Peter Moos with a solid score of 41 stableford points.
Division two winner was new member Rob Thomas with 38, on a countback from Brock Kennerley.
Women’s winner of the day was Chris Hayman with 34 points.
Nearest the pins were won by Peter Davis (four), Brock Kennerley (seven), and Peter Moos (17). Peter Davis won best second shot on 15.
